1971-76 Studies at Faculty of Sciences, József Attila University, Szeged, Hungary.

1976  M.Sc. (biology)

1976-  Lecturer at Department of Comparative Physiology, József Attila     University, Szeged.

1978:  University doctoral degree in physiology, anatomy and philosophy.

1985:  International Training Course: Department of  Experimental Psychology, Sussex University (postgraduate studies, supervised by Prof. B. Boaks).

1986:  C.Sc. degree (Ph.D.)

1991-96: Vice-dean of Faculty of Sciences, József Attila University, Szeged.

1992-93: Head of Department of Zoology, József Attila University, Szeged.

1995:  D.Sc. degree (Hungarian Academy of Sciences)

1995:  Habilitation at József Attila University

1996-  Head of Department of Comparative Physiology (from 2007: Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Neuroscience)

Research interests

 

Neuroplasticity of the sensory and motor systems, neurodegeneration, neuroregeneration and neuroprotection in the CNS
